Ridgewood Baby Daycare
Bindi Bindi Ridgewood Baby Daycare
education begins at birth
6 weeks to the age of 18 months
Our Bindi Bindi room caters for children from the ages of 6 weeks to the age of 18 months. The Bindi Bindi room is designed to create a calming, nurturing environment for your child to develop their intellectual, physical, social, and emotional skills. Every child is their own individual and have different interests and needs, routines will be followed as much as possible to allow your child to feel comfortable, familiar, and secure.

Group and individual experiences are planned around children's routines, where children build on their social interactions and develop the use of language. We provide a range of activities within our nursery rooms, where the children are able to explore and develop their skills and senses. These include painting with a variety of media using our hands and feet to explore surfaces and how things feel different.

We encourage children to build on their self-help skills through hand washing, feeding, activities, and playtime.

If you are considering enrolling your baby into our service, we recommend coming in for orientation/play sessions with your child to ensure they tour the centre so they can become more familiar and comfortable with their new surroundings and educators. This will allow for a smooth transition into care.
Our Baby Daycare Services
Infant Care (6 weeks to 6 months)
The first few months of a baby's life are both precious and critical. Our infant care services are tailored to offer a nurturing and stimulating environment that meets the unique needs of every baby.

Personalised Routines
We understand that every baby is different. Our passionate educators work closely with parents to ensure that each infant's feeding, sleeping, and diapering routines are consistently maintained.

Tummy Time & Sensory Play
Ensuring the right physical development is crucial at this stage. We incorporate daily tummy time sessions to strengthen your baby's neck, back, and shoulder muscles. Additionally, our sensory play activities are designed to engage your baby’s developing senses, promoting cognitive growth.

Safe Sleep Practices
Your baby's safety is our top priority. We adhere to the latest guidelines for safe sleeping, ensuring that babies are placed on their backs in cribs free from toys, guarding rails, and blankets.
Baby Care (6 months to 12 months)
Our baby care program
As babies grow, their curiosity knows no bounds. Our baby care program is designed to foster that innate sense of wonder, all while ensuring they continue to receive the love and care they deserve.

Introduction to Solid Foods
With guidance from pediatric nutrition guidelines and parental preferences, we introduce babies to various healthy solid foods, ensuring a smooth transition from a liquid diet.

Motor Skill Development Activities
Whether it's crawling, standing, or taking those first few steps, our caregivers provide opportunities for babies to enhance their physical development through a range of fun and safe activities.

Language and Sound Exploration
Through songs, rhymes, and interactive storytelling, we encourage babies to explore the world of sounds and kickstart their linguistic journey.
Toddler Care (12 months to 18 months)
Stepping into toddlerhood
Stepping into toddlerhood, children are full of energy and eager to explore. Our toddler care services provide a structured environment where they can learn, play, and thrive.

Independent Play & Group Interactions
We promote both individual nature play – allowing toddlers to explore at their own pace – and group activities that teach sharing, patience, and other social skills.

Basic Language Development
By 18 months, many toddlers can speak several words. Our caregivers engage them with age-appropriate books, simple conversations, and activities to enrich their vocabulary and begin their childhood education.

Structured Playtime and Nap Routines
Balance is key at this stage. While we have plenty of play and learning activities, we also ensure that toddlers get adequate rest with a consistent nap routine in a calm setting.
